Griefed by pearls

Ive been playing this game quite a while, since halfway through W3. Every world ive made a pearl necklace. But this week i got griefed by the pearls. I have had 18 pearls for quite a while, ive gotten 1 pearl roughly every 150 mussels but now after 900 mussels I have not gotten a single pearl. I have always been a good hearthling but to be griefed like this is just unfair. This thread will now be a support thread for all those being griefed by pearls. Talk , share your hurt with me.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Them be the breaks.
Sometimes you might get 1% in 2 tries, sometimes in 200. Deal with it.

I just boiled your last 11 mussels and got exactly 2 pearls.

I couldnt bear it any longer so i drowned, I doubt even with another 900 mussels id get a single pearl from it. My character was bugged, everything I had to offer wasnt enough to get 2 more pearls, having no way to obtain anymore I just jumped in the river.

You know long dry streaks with pearls isn't all that uncommon... Sometimes you get it in your first 7 mussels (or in my case, 2 from your last 11 mussels) or in 1000+ mussels
