Animals will fit on knarrs like jorb said.
About knarr dunk combat I think they need to rework it.
Add grappling hooks to tie knarrs together and make them walkable.

Hopefully with the introduction of oceans and continents, massive single point markets will become completely impractical and result instead in smaller localized markets, which should be more manageable. if a cf were to ever be made again ...
