... stuff in such a away that would make it harder to do. (Which is why there'd need to be some form of offline defense. Such as guard dogs and traps.)

First room is always safe when You enter as first, it just that running people pull/trap newcomers this way. If You are not prepared, better not going in. Also, doesn't peeking with shift not work there?

Came to bat dungeon now

after we enter, there was like 3 purple bats, that already spawned infinite amount of normal bats

looks like TP traps in Diablo2

you enter and infinite amout of bats attack you
