Im guessing the silver mine your talking about is the one north-west aways of the tin one? sandbrook was quite pissed to have lost access to that... but we were ass fucked before we could do anything or even talk about it. doesnt matter now though...

as for the tin mine, the original wall was put up by someone else, the second wall built around that one, was built and opened by sandbrook. I dont know why we built that... theres a copper mine in a cave near there as well due east of the tin mine. the cave has three entrances. Id like to keep myself near those places, but im tired of other people in the two areas ive lived in. and the brodgar grid is a mess.

We set up operation to break a hole in the wall and the next day we were almost sealed in and the village claim was gone so we erected a new one and a signpost so we could break it from the inside.

Not at all. we haven't been back to that place since Sandbrook was destroyed. my friend has been there, but that was several weeks ago. I can give you the locations of the three caves that can lead to a copper mine in a PM if you want, or in the thread if you dont mind it being public.

looks rather familiar...

Oh, btw a public mine is possible. Set up
a rather large claim with a yeo alt and set
rocks around the perimiter with the hearth
secret to that alt, then allow white names
to do what is required to mine ore. When
people kin that alt by hearth secret they are
placed in the white category.

Also a wall surrounding the claim, with no
gate but instead 2 sealed cornerposts 2
tiles apart, would probably be a good idea
to avoid something stupid.
