The individual known as 'Joe Cool' on these forums has, unfortunately, misinformed you as to the nature of their death.

Yes, they were slain. They were slain for violation of one of our laws, specifically, no clear-cutting. They were informed of this at the beginning of their time with us, as they came through the charter stone. Any member of my kingdom will inform you that we only bring people into our community if they have been met at the charter stone, and the rules of our area discussed with them. I received repeated confirmation on their part that they understood these rules.

Herbert Fredstein is the Chieftain of Emain Macha, and is charged with the enforcing of these rules. In my failing to clearly list out the appropriate action to be taken in the violation of each of the rules until tonight, he acted in a way he thought was appropriate, much as it sickened him to do so. We have spoken, and a clear set of rules and guidelines have been established with how laws are to be enforced.

Death on a first offense for clear-cutting is indeed unjust, and as such Magh Tuireadh would like to do what it can to make restitution to Joe. I would like to offer Joe a scythe and shovel, or a pick-ax by way of apology.

Well, the thing is happenig there is totally internal problem. So I ask everyone to not to meddle in their problems.

The thing I can say about the kingdom is that it has a really strick rules (they exile every thief, even tresspassing is to be punished). They exist really long due to they prevent any reason to raid them by making a strong discipline among their villagers. Also, their villages are totally peaceful.

First of all, I didnt misinform anyone and I dont have to.
I didnt chop a single tree after he taught me how. I only find tree logs that are already chopped coz cutting tree is time consuming. And those areas are 10mins boat trip from our village.
I didnt screencap our conversation but believe it or not, he did tell me that he used bucket leveling.
Nevermind, whats done is done.
Just want you and him to know, you dont have to do this coz you wont be able to know if theres unforeseen consequences.

I can tell you the whole story.
I told him my stats and the way I leveled which was making buckets.
I decided to make a new cupboard, so I go NE of our village and find a chopped tree with logs near it.
I chopped one of the 2 logs into boards and brought to my house to finish my cupboard.
He got into my house said he had something for me and asked which cupboard < lol I dunno why
Then, he killed me using a beam ,< I dont know, without saying anything.
Its my first char. AND YOU ARE MAKING ME TO QUIT THIS GAME.

As Herbert, by his own admission and inexperience, forgot to screen cap the events, I cannot comment on this. He is trusted and loyal, and has served us very well. Without screen-caps your description of the event is hearsay, and a case of your word against his. If I did not trust him, I would not have him as Chieftain. (Edit)

We were aware of possible consequences, but such is the nature of attempting to keep order in our lands. Again, I would like to stress that this level of response for a first offense of clear-cutting is more than I consider appropriate. I have taken steps to make sure that no one will experience this severe of a punishment again on a first offense.
