I think, with the lack of RoB on this map, it's a good initiative. I'd be happy to accept a CR sign to Constantinople, and set up some stalls when I get time.

You might want to take a closer look at the maps I posted because the bigass town on there is Sodom. Feel free to stop by anytime, when you cannot even find the biggest town on a map I don't fear much for our safety. Plus there is a overview of all the grids and we are pretty much the center of the world.

We ARE the center of the world, we are just victims of a slight geographical glitch. but maybe we could ask jorb to fix that.

on topic:

the idea behind this city is, to get each village the chance to have a village member there. this member will recieve a claim, which can be turned into an embassy/trading post of the given village. you can wall your claim completely, in parts and get up some vending stands, make a nice flower field, whatever you like you like. as people move in, we will extend the village claim further, to have all inhabited claims under village influence.

we do NOT want to build a new new brodgar. this town is mainly for villages as a trading base. but due to the new village system we could use people doing their stuff in there, to keep the authority up, so if there is a small to medium sized group of settlers, who want to take over the running of the city, please feel welcomed to ask. as burg mentioned before, it got a tin mine in it, so you can at least get your basic needs of metal out of it. this would be negotiable.

village authorities, ls and chief, will stay in our hands, since we preserve ourself the right to keep the final decision, who will be moving in.

so stay tuned for further news.

Well Iimagine that people would want to establish a more permanent trade route at this location. I know for sure that my village is. So what would be the procedure to establish this route? Are signs going to be needed?

I salute this effort. Anyway, did you guys build a charterstone? Adopting Constantinople charterstone would allow even the hermits to come and trade (they can't have crossroads).

@ Potjeh: Charterstone is not built yet, but it will be included.

@Dataslycer: Yes we are handing out signs to Constantinople, so that each town can constantly travel there.
