yeah... seems like a survivor or someguy who took over stone mansion house in the ghost town Jolatown... :| (several times i passby... never see anything new there) ... i been to Jola, it has a dead village claim with a beautiful cementry for the fallen.

But it appears to be an amateaur ranger/vigaliant acting out his own justice :| Cuz the only personal claim is over the only wooden gate. Can't really leave theif scents in Jola unless you gonna steal some splinters off their wooden gate xD

exactly

also this person looks like toke jolatown to his own , i saw some scents there and the personal claim is new

Im not sure if you are right about the p.claim being new at jola. Its just a small claim and hard to remember if it was there in past... I pass by there reguarly, can't remember if that was new or old. (large claims are easier to remember... because its way obvious =P)

Something doesn't quite add up with this story.

Why would somebody give stuff away, yet not take down personal claims?

Why would somebody leave the door open to a place filled with their scents?

Why do you have a murder scent in front of your town?

Hm. I don't think we'll know what happened here, but, if somebody got your scent and killed you for it, then that's just how the game works.

I'm sure the person who killed your friend would have a different story to tell, the fact is nobody here can say "This is true" or "This isn't" without any proof, the only proof that's in the game is scents, and this is an example of that.

Making a post on the forum about it won't help you.

Q1: That guy left this area cuz he got killed and tells me on IRC he too lazy to remove P.claim and keeps saying he will later :P (wont name names, they can come out if they want to :3
Q2: ??? Cascade and answer this question better than me since it is their scents.
Q3: Cascade Murder scent? They seem to attract griefers and killed em if you refering to the one near the xroad of theirs... not to mention a recent hacking incident if you searched the forums... managed to recover their stuff... there are assult/battery scents in the forest while they were chasing the hacked character and recovered 3 cartful of stolen village goods. 5-10 mini maps to the west

Now just for kicks since you sound so paranoid or distrustful, this seems to be your first post how do we know you aren't the guy who caused the trouble and trying to throw a wrench into the gears? It really all comes down to do you belive the person or not. Reading people's previous posts usually can provide a good indicator of he is someone you should trust better.

It just seems very odd to me that somebody would not even change the permission to a claim if they were giving away stuff...

How trustable is this person? I mean, hell, it almost sounds like they intended for you to leave scents.

It's a case of proof there though. I mean, there's a lot of skeletons and a lot of runestones for it to just be griefers.

First post, yes, but, I've been lurking for a bit, I posted my stats in that thread in the Inn section, not exactly your murderous folk.

Simply strikes me that there's a few too many things wrong with this situation for it to be as clear as you guys have mentioned.

Hi all! I was the one who got killed :)

Anyway, here's the story, since I am probably the best one to explain.

Cascade, Ivalice and OnRPG are three villages made by members from the onrpg.com forums. I, the lawspeaker of Cascade, am actually a journalist who works for onrpg.com. We used to have one village, but that didn't work out (many people quit) so we decided to split up.

Cascade and Ivalice have always been running strong. OnRPG, however, kept losing villagers. In the end, only three were still active. When the lawspeaker decided to quit as well (Reef is his name), the village completely died. One of the villagers (Cornelia) decided to join our village (Cascade). The other villager (Cingal) decided to be a powerful hermit :p

We of Cascade had been given the rights by all three villagers to get their items whenever we needed them. Yesterday, one of my villagers and I decided to get a mulberry from their village (they have q47 mulberries). Sadly, the tree didn't have any mulberries yet, so we decided to look around for mulberries. My friend, Leon, didn't have trespassing and theft, so I had to do it myself.

The problem with OnRPG was that two of the villagers who had quit did not remove their personal claims yet because they were simply too lazy or busy. We figured that with the gates, the village claim and the personal claims, nobody was stupid enough to even BOTHER to get in.

Anyway, I got in, searched around for a mulberry, but didn't manage to find one, but I found some other stuff that we could use in our village, so we decided to take them, since we had the rights to. I could have never expected to be killed because some fool decided to act on his own.

This is really sad, especially because I pretty much had all skills, except murder, rage, swimming and another one, and I had quite some decent stats. The fact that I didn't do anything wrong and yet am still punished is really stupid, but I am afraid I can't do anything about that. I was hoping for loftar to be able to fix this, but I doubt that is going to happen, even if we can prove that nothing illegal was done.

EDIT: The skeletons at our gate are quite weird, I know. Here is an explanation for that:

Two skeletons have been taken out of the forest for decoration.
Two skeletons are from old village members who wished to suicide, so matias (our 'chieftain') killed them for the LP. Nothing illegal about that either.
One skeleton was from a hacker who raided our village. You can read more about that in my other thread.
