You mean after all that he died with not even a whimper? I was looking forward to an epic slaughter of heroes being slain as they tried to stop him. Especially after all that Mansion busting.

Three cheers for Onionfighter and those who took him out.

Especially after all this whining.

Damn that was fast.

oh, yeah, and they didn´t whine about that guy being too weak or not on and such. just came home and went to sleep.

i had to wait quite a while to answer. prontera was a village we were cool at, had some nice talk and i personally liked the guys. we did NOT have an alliance, and since we didn´t intend to play world police we didn´t respond with raids or such to their faith. we took some of them behind our walls as refugees though.

and in your case, after there was no pledge for help, just some insults, especially i in person no´ed to help you. but since that raider was somehow an insult in the eyes of our rangers - and also some menace to buyan - they headed out together to erase that place to its very grounds, salt the earth and all that.but i can only say it again, due to your whining, cursing and wall of texting, i personally wouldn´t have lifted any finger. so all credits to the rangers of buyan and sodom, who took that case into their hands and proofed you wrong, where i was tempted to proof you right.

Ops, I was told that we had an alliance or something. Probably was misinformed, it's a bit late to do anything about it though. Sorry about the mistake juhubert and thanks for taking in the others. I guess we can conclude this story so far.

Was it the one? I do remember seeing that guy with the chef's hat, but there was also another. We still have murder scents that point to his hearthfire. I assumed he had put on the bear cape, but obviously there was 2 of them, 1 with a chef's hat, the other with a bear cape. Or he could have been using dual client and both been his guys. I remember when we first checked the scents that 1 claimed the perpetrator "had no hearthfire", while other scents pointed to one.

So whether it was 2 guys or 1 guy with an alt, we still have murder scents pointing to a hearthfire.

Scents still point towards the HF even if they are dead.

Upon a perpetrator's hearthfire being destroyed (which happens when they die) scents will point to the charter stone of the deceased, if the person had one. I noticed this after killing the guy. If you have scents for a person who has no hearth fire, you can summon them just about anywhere, and should try this (I would guess the person is dead).

Scents were gathered from Seattle, and nearby areas. On the person of the perpetrator were two key rings that contained keys labeled for Ravenholm.

Killing the person, once summoned, was not particularly difficult. Razing the place was kind of depressing, actually.

I truly hate datoneguy, he's a obnoxious idiot, loser and know-it-all and I hope to god I was never that bad (though I suspect I was), but at the end of the day he's right, look at the posts here, due to the complaining and raging people have lost all sympathy for ravenholm, some have even said it makes them want to grief as well.

So listen one and all who have lost life, property or village. Griefers do not enjoy destroying your stuff or your characters, the enjoy watching you bemoan your fate and rage against it, do not give them that, get back up on your feet and hit them so hard they will never dare to grief again. Giving in only encourages them to continue to prey upon you. After all, all a griefer can take from you is code and pixels, you're the ones throwing your dignity away by complaining instead of rebuilding and raging instead of fighting back.
