Many thanks to the 'anonymous' guy/gal who killed the 2 bastards who were responsible for slaughtering so many of us at the Tricities (the name stuck, I like it - thanks for the name Jackard... I think)

Tinsel town is stronger since the attack. We were so weak and poor to begin with that we lost virtually nothing but the hours of time it takes to invest in a character. We are rebuilding and will recruit new people who care to join and put some effort into it. As for ironwell and copperfield. I think they are dead or dying. there seems to be a bit of an exodus. i would love one of the members to come on and tell me I am wrong. But so far no poitive news on them.

I'd advise you secure / focus on Ironwell as soon as possible (on the basis of my assumption that that is the town with the Iron mine). Tin is useless without Copper and likewise, Copper without Tin, where-as Iron is pretty useful for everything. It'll give you good access to metal tools (plow, scythe, pickaxe etc...) and Wrought for a Brick Wall.

We are dead now. Ironwell was fully secured with brick wall. But we were noob friendly town - trying to show the game to new players. Sadly some of them didnt for example close the gate.

Only sad shit is that ppl having fun killing noobs that cant play - like me or some peeps in ironwell/copperfield/tinsel.

The lesson learned there is to not give n00bs the keys. :) Setup Crossroads inside (internal) the city and Crossroads outside the city walls (external). Link the internal ones to the external ones but make it a one way trip. That way if people want to get out easily, they can. If they want to get back inside the city, they'll need to port to hearth (assuming it's inside the city walls) or port to village.

If Travel Weariness is an issue, setup barrels of alcohol outside the city walls with a chest of tankards next to it. That way people can drink their TW down and then port to village to get inside.

Keys are risky as it is anyway as if someone dies or leaves a key somewhere (or even gives a key to someone), your city becomes incredibly vulnerable. There's no easy way to change the locks once someone has a key.

Re-build. You know a bit better what you're doing now and you've learned a bit about who to trust. Use it in building a better city.

Make a home-estate farm, live in another village? Work in a mine? Embark in Constantinople? Someone else? There's many possibilities.

I don't know who exactly is left at Ironwell still, but the gates were closed when I died. I suggest you try Newt (metallic on this forum), Leonard, Cirith (Gray on here) or Gobby. They all have keys and if any one of them can hand you a set, you are golden - just the brick parameter wall with gates and iron mine makes this way more than worth your while. The community centre is also complete with mansion and a tree farm ready to be populated with trees right next to that, some ~q30 trees ready to be upgraded, ~q50 fields ready for the harvest, plots set up, high q clay in chests, kilns, smelter and crucibles built etc etc etc.

As for me, as explained in our Tricity forums, will be taking a break from leadership and noob training, irl is too hectic and with the little bit of time I can invest on here, I would like to just play the game and chill for a bit.

I wish you all, all of the best, there is no reason you can't make a great success of it still... not that it ever was a failure by any means.

About half of CF is still or again alive, but most of them have moved.
I dont know what I will do, I could try and build up again, if TT offers some people and support.

We have a huge city, done, but the walls.

I know who you are, some much better than others. I can see some degree of logic in you coming for me, but to kill innocent noobs just to piss me off proves a cowardly point. You do realise that you have destroyed real life efforts these guys have put into the game? Poor form chaps... but I have to admit though, I did not expect any better from you anyways.

WHAT do you mean by this Sarge. I sort of demand an explanation. You're just saying it were random griefers, but this very much makes me think otherwise.
PM please.
