Also, you may wish to build over the place of the constitutionally indorsed legal execution, the cabin or smelter. The scent of the murder will imperil you and if you place over the scents a construction, it will be more difficult for the minions of the oppressive tyrant to collect these against you before they decay and you become safe.

It is my suggestion also, that you do not name your village nor the supergrid where is it, so that no one nefarious may know where to seek the scents.

Thanks for the advice, but we're already gotten a good word from two forum moderators, I think we're in the clear if they read this thread. As for the house, well, it was indoors, and we're problably just gonna claim it, so if anyone snoops around, they'll be tresspassing, in which case their scent will problably join with the old one (MWHAHAHAHAH! Or... Well, kinda, if someone's out to kill you, and breaks into your home, I think it's pretty justified aswell.), but we'll problably talk our way out of it, or post a runestone with an explaination, mentioning this thread. Either way, we recently got some mercenaries, and a local militia, so we're problably safe, should some crooked "vigilant" come along.

Thanks for the advice, though, and when we can afford to remove the building, we will.

You can't do anything worthwhile with Tresspassing scents.

Just make sure you all don't destroy your hearthfires.
