In other news Haro conducts its first trade with another settlement trading the rare and elusive wheat seed for a supply of gauze with a nearby hermit. Good relations with a number of nearby villages or New Bitardsk (screen shot from earlier) and Punchyork as well as numerous hermits are being forged and the inter-village economy is beginning to take shape.

I think Caliku is dead, or moved on, his hearth fire is out and the stake he had is gone...

Can I have his farm?

Like 12 or so. Also, sorry that I haven't been that active lately as I've been really busy. I actually have a life other than the computer. I actually can't even get on right this second because I have to leave in a short while. Sorry for not being there to help you guys.

It's ok man, we are pretty settled in actually, we have carrots, loads of hunting, and I'm planting some trees, like fir and mullberry, as well as oak.

Cali had the farm all set with loads of wheat and stuff, but know, the Aliens struck...

I was FAAAAAAR to the south looking for areas that could have possibly have a mine.

Got past a mountain with no hits on it and finally hit a river again. Started to see areas where there had been logging activity. At this point I was fishing to recover from the long trip since I disembarked from my boat and water.

Typically when I fish I like to open up my browser to surf. Volume muted, with sound effects turned off anyway, I came back to the game and was lying on the ground surrounded by 4 people, seemingly to make it so that I couldn't run. At this point I was already knocked out. Without having a chance to do or say anything I was slain. Not the first time I've been murdered, but at least the first time it was funny and I actually deserved it.

Anyway I was pretty pissed because at this point I was still Full change, and had accumulated about 250k LP. Whoever killed me, you're a giant dick, but also cool because I needed a reason to finish a project anyway.

I wasn't expecting to die so early and at full change, and I don't feel that I want to spend the time working my way back to where I was. If I come back I will be in touch.

Grayza, you're a noob and a tad bit greedy. Try putting more work into the group, and a little less of taking things from the collective for yourself. Also, planting shitty trees is just a waste of space, so get some more farming. Also I was intentionally sabotaging your potted trees, otherwise I would have just chopped down any q3 trees you planted. I tried explaining that quality in everything effects anything else it touches. You wanted to use q1 plant fibres for your own personal herb tables instead of waiting a few days for me to raise the Q of our hemp up. Nobody wants q1-9 branches/bark.

C & L you guys were really cool. I had fun building up our community with you guys, and I'm REALLY sorry I'm cutting out on you. Perhaps after the semester is over I'll hop back in, hopefully you're willing to take me back in. Have fun doing all the work so everyone else can reap the benefits. Honestly I was getting tired of it myself.

Agarrett, you aren't around enough to be leader. You are also a bit petulant, it just seems like you always have an attitude problem to me. I would adjust it if I were you.

To Haro, good luck in the future.

It's a shame to see you go Caliku. Hopefully you'll come back at some point, whenever that is. Once we get the actual village up, I'll be sure to reserve a claim for you; after all you did, you definitely deserve it. In any case, good luck with the semester, and hopefully I'll see you again soon.

Anyway, after seeing the last few replies here, I'm going to assume some serious shit went down while I was gone. God forbid I leave for half a day...

Thanks for understanding. It's actually my capstone project I'm working on and I've been neglecting my duties since the new world came up, since we work on teams I need to carry my weight because with this one I either graduate or I'm stuck here for another semester.

Whatever you guys do, avoid going as far south as I did. I rode a boat south for about 45 minutes then walked for another 50 or so. If you come across a mountain that "feeds" a river about 200 tiles away to the south, RUN AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. For all I know it could have been the Russians, as I am currently unaware of any other griefers. All the mines in that direction seem to be claimed or there are none to begin with, I covered a lot of ground.

I was originally just going to keep this between the village, but fuck it, odds are we'll be using it to trade anyway.

We have a mine. To be precise, we have a tin mine.

Production of tin bars is currently in progress. Odds are we'll have more than enough stock to trade it within a day. If you live in the Haro area, whether you are a hermit or a village, we're more than willing to trade with you. If metal is hardly your concern and you're more interested in crops, mainly the elusive wheat, we also have every crop currently in the game. If you're interested in trading, drop me a PM sometime (the majority of our active members have left for a bit for varying reasons, so I'm basically the only other one right now). If enough interest is garnered, I'll open a thread in Apples for Oranges, though I doubt there will be enough activity to justify that.

In light of our acquisition, I've attempted to discuss trading with nearby settlements in-game. But after reaching a slumbering Punchyork, I decided that it would be best to wait for now and meet other villages at a more appropriate hour. If we've met before, don't be surprised if I come by eventually.

That should be all for now. Sorry that I didn't tell the rest of you guys in Haro before a public announcement, but nobody was online.

It sucks to see you go Cali, always saw you as a good member of our village, but RL takes precedence over heartland...

Just on a footnote you were a bit harsh to Grayza, we noobs require guidance and counsel, not secret sabotage. Besides he is one of the most active members, at least when I'm on (never saw Austin and rarely see others than cut, Elwood and brakma)
