They were always more of an economic powerhouse rather than a military one. AFAIK they don't have any players that put in 8+ hours a day grinding LP. This only shows the shortcomings of the game itself, IMO. Economic power should count a lot more.

As for archers, I don't quite understand what happened here. Even with full martial, you shouldn't be doing enough damage to one-hit a guy in full armour of good quality.

And AD is hardly no name.

I mean economy should count for more in military buildup. As the things are now, you can have 10x higher stats than the other guy, if he's got 2x LP he'll mop the floor with you. You can gain advantage in stats by playing the market well, the only way you can gain advantage in LP is by grinding like it was your dayjob. This just doesn't feel right to me.

I had barely played at all this world, managed to get maybe 250k total lp while logging in an hour or two at most per month. I had just logged in and was about to be invited by an alt to the village so one of the guys logged on to it and invited me. I villageported there since I didn't have a hearthfire and saw the alt get brutally murdered by some dudes who had just appeared from the signpost. I tried logging out but it was apparently too late. Let me know when the game is less broken and I'll probably play again, until then, fuck this gay world.

Since they seemingly had signs (which was not the case after all) we were pretty sure they were either with gato, or that he'd sold someone the signs, that they knew who we were and were hell bent on destroying us. This is why we were agressive and careless. Also a lot of blows had been struck to the goon empire lately and made a lot of guys just want revenge on whoever however.

Also, yes, fuck off oblivior, all we ever did was ban you from IRC, and you never were able to take it with any measure of humour (which is a good way not to get ban'd)

Hoping there will be a less grindy system in w4 but i guess those who are able to put more time in the game will always be at an advantage.
