And then read http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12551

Edit: Just to be clear, the point of this link was to prove that Xymop may not be beyond what they are being accused of.

Obviously this is just me speculating, but I don't think it's very unrealistic to believe that what the people of The World Traveling Caravan are saying is that Xymop took one of their wagons which had supplies in it, and all they were doing was trying to get it back. Xymop contacted AD, and they intervened with brute force tactics to protect one of their allies.

Just a guess though.

ahhh but i never said THEY TOOK it i said we asked if they took it because the person took it in that direction... we were asking if they saw it or if they have it but the guy barely spoke 2 words english....

I am not necessarily saying they are bad but they need to get thier facts straight before jumping to conclusions and the rangers really should listen to Koya

It didn't seem that Koya was on at the moment so they took it for themselves to investigate. Unfortunately language barrier makes it harder to make a more peaceful resolution and I don't think it helped that Headshot was pretty aggravated thus making the operation a bit messy.

@ewlol. Was that really necessary? If that was the actual case, then it would just be country vs country instead of the current scenario. And the Homer Simpson size font doesn't help your case either.

Something similar happened to my village a week ago or so, I believe it was A.D atleast...

Koya didn't seem to know about it though, so I doubt he's to blame.

But I will never trust a russian-speaking individual the same way I'd trust a proper english-speaking bloke, that's for damn sure.

AD needs a better policy/plan for how to deal with scents and threats and such. It's very rare that we see a post where a person is killed by AD after having negotiations with koya but it's becoming commonplace to see AD killing people while he is not around. I never had problems talking and negotiating with koya but his members seem to be lacking his ability to come to peaceful solutions.

It was necessary because there are more and more frequent cases of misunderstanding that leads to violence because of a language barrier, and especially since lives are being lost. Notice how the farmer misinterpreted that caravaner's plea for their wagon back into harassment, and then some were too quick to act, why? because of the language barrier.

Wow this thread...
So I can see AD going to investigate, but killing some people for "standing"? Also Xymop is part of AD or an ally?

This all could justhave been a bad translation job and xymop running their words through a translator and ending up with something like "give us your wagon we are with sodom/buyan", they get spooked and call rangers, instead of just expecting rangers go in with a preconceived notion (from the bad translation earlier) that these guys are
trying to mess with those farmers, so they strongarm them.

I see someone said they come along people saying they are protected by Sodom often... Mind pointing these outto us inthe future, people using our name as
a scapegoat is a problem we would need to deal with, I've never heard of it happening though

In any case, my point was that neither parties knew what the other one was saying or doing, and this led to what I would call a hastily achieved resolution.
