Buying>Bricks/Cavebulbs/Linen

Postby DatOneGuy » Wed Aug 25, 2010 3:10 am

I'm always contactable for trades in: #haven-trade on synIRC.

Currently interested in Bricks/Cavebulbs.

I can offer hq tools, typical tools of any metal, almost any metal (No I won't make steel for it), jewelry (q500+), gold and silver.

If you have questions, ask them here. If you want to trade, PM me.

I don't think it was understood well since I've had people ask in PMs (Ask here, not in PMs) so...

I'll just use the term "Unit" to define it, can't think of a good name for it.

1 Unit = 1 Low Quality Cast Iron Bar

Buying
1 Unit = 24 Bricks (Any quality)
1 Unit = 6 Cavebulbs
1 Unit = 16 Linen Cloth

Selling
2 Units = 1 Q100+ Cast Iron Bar
6 Units = 1 Silver Nugget
18 Units = 1 Gold Nugget
8 Units = 1 Q260+ Sling

Low Q cast iron (scrap metal) ratio:

Bricks: 24:1
Cavebulbs: 6:1

High quality cast iron (q100+) ratio:
Bricks: 48:1
Cavebulbs: 12:1

Frying pan seems to be just one bar, so 48 bricks or 12 bulbs.

What would a merchant's ring cost? How about a Thane's Ring?

Cavebulbs, good sir. I wouldn't dare try to dig up that many bricks. My Q spot would likely be depleted.

any quality for my purposes.

Slings count as 4 low quality cast (q260+, actually a lot closer to q300+), Monocles... I've yet to try and make a really good quality one but I'll get back to you on this once I find out what quality I can make.

Not personally selling thanes.
Merchant's would cost it's weight in 2 gold, for bricks that would be (what I've been using as a conversion), 18 low-quality cast, or in other words 432 bricks.

I've had it happen a few times, you ever haul 1,000+ bricks at a time? It almost made me never want to do the trade again, good thing at least the regular client has that nifty new feature, all praise loftar! 8-)
