Andoran General Trading Thread

Postby serpentyngallery » Sun Sep 12, 2010 1:38 am

May be a little different (but not too much so), but I convert everything down to a low Q hard metal coin value, based on my experiences in the Buyan Markets, and as such, thought I'd toss out what we offer and a general guide by how I price things out for trade, as much for my Villagers as for the rest of ya'll. We buy and sell everything, even metal exchange as long as we have the supplies, and utilize the same Q multipliers as the Goon trading post (1-39 x1, 40-89 x2, 90-159 x3) for most items, others it's a multiplier in coins based on Q. So here's the pricing guide I use.

We are currently willing trade in these locations: Buyan Market, Constantinople, Lost Caverns, Altdorf, Wildemoore, and the Heart of Ipek

Also Offering Metal Exchange of Low Q for Mid and High Q

Buying:
Pearls = 400 coins
Honey = 20 coins/Liter

Special Rate on Linnen = 10 coins

Buying and Selling As Stock Permits
(Current Steel stock: 1 LQ, 0 HQ; Current Wrought Stock: 20 LQ, 10 MQ, 6 HQ; Current Cast Stock: 0 LQ, 10 MQ 30 HQ)
(Bronze 10 bars MQ, 50 bars(100+) HQ)
(Tin - 5 bars Lq, 20 bars HQ)
(Copper - 6 Bars HQ)
(Silver - 5 Bars)

Foragables (chants, blueberries, ect) = 5 coins
Wrought (bar)= 300 coins
Steel (bar)= 600 coins
Silver (nugget)= 600 coins
Gold (nugget)= 1800 coins
Ores (all mined at full industry, can supply Iron, buying all others (have 64 copper and tin in stock, ea)) = 20 coins
Silk Thread = 100 coins at base (Current Production q140+ aka x3 base rate)
Clay = 3 coins
Linnen = 7coins
Rope = 15 coins
Leather = 10 coins
Wax = 20 coins
Bricks = 5 coins
Q85 bricks = 15 coins ea

Tier 1 and 2 cheeses, and Gouda = Q = Coin

Tier 4 and up Cheeses= Qx5 = Coin

Selling:

Frying Pans = Qx1.5 = coins (can supply up to Q100+)
Can make Wrought gear up to q100, steel up to 80, Bronze up to 100
Armors = Q x 20 x (1 for bronze, 3 for wrought, 6 for steel) = coins

Swords = Q x 15 x (1 for bronze, 3 for wrought, 6 for steel) = coins (Like we'd not charge more for weapons)
Tools by Metal Value

Coal = Q = Coin (up to 125)

Specialties:

Rangers Pants, Shirt, or cloak @ q170+ = 3500 coins ea, full set of 3 = 8400 coins
Ranger Boots @ q90+ = 900 coins

Want to know the price on anything else, post in here or drop me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Are you buying cavebulbs? And if so, what is the rate? And, when you say, "Steel (bar)= 600 coins", does that mean you're buying a steel bar for 600 coins, or selling a steel bar for 600 coins (or both)?

Also, could someone explain what is meant by "hard metal coin value"?

I'm a bit new to trading, so I'm sorry if I don't understand the lingo yet, I'll pick it up quickly; on a plus note, I actually have access to Lost Caverns.

Yes, buying and selling steel at 600 coins per bar at low Q, we only have q80+ in stock at the moment, so there is the premium on that

Hard Metal coin value means coins made from cast iron and bronze

And Cave bulbs are listed just below the Forgables listing

About your cheeses - are you saying 1 piece of q60 midnight blue cheese is worth 300 coins to you? So for 3 of those I could get 60 q85+ bricks?

i'd hardly call it unorthodox at this point, that's basically what goonbucks were (100 bronze/iron coins equivalent). btw, for q multiplier i didn't segment it out, i just multiplied goonbucks by the square root of (q/10). of course you're welcome to do it however you choose. cheers.
