I buy your straw (any ql), i can pay in Bar of Cast iron q30+ or Bar of Tin q30+,

600 straw = 15 Bar of Cast Iron
200 straw = 5 Bar Of Cast Iron

600 straw = 30 Bar of Tin
200 straw = 8 bar of tin

It's equivalent to 8 linen per bar in terms of farming time/tiles used, I don't see why it's terrible (apart from transporting it all, of course).

I think he facepalmed cause the OP gave a discount for bulk straw when selling tin, but here he just did some simple math which is either a mistake (if he actually intended to give bulk discounts when selling iron as well) or makes the second line redundant

In any case, I'd buy some straw for the same trade rate as well I can usually get 15 cast iron from about 3 smelter's worth of ore (75 ore), so it seems worthwhile and as the guys stated, the price is pretty decent for the straw harvester

Why say 5 bars: 200 straw, 15 bars: 600 straw. I mean, then he could at least say he only wants to buy it in bulks of 200 or 600.If you say that, you'd probably give 1 or 2 bars in discount as Tacheron said.
