Did you find that out by trying to shoot with a sling? Because that's not even slightly comparable.

RAnger bow is 3x slower aiming, so how hard is to use a math here?

Sling is 2x as fast as a Bow, Rng Bow is 3x Slower than a Bow, so a Rng Bow is 6x slower than a Sling.

Your aiming speed with the Bow/Rng Bow is based off the Lowest of either a) Your Bow EMI, Arrow EMI, or MM

Rng bow has EMI of 3 ( 3* Rng Bow Q )
Arrow has EMI of 2 ( 2 * Arrow Q )
MM is same as what it is.

So whichever of the 3 is the lowest , your aiming speed will be capped by that.

Base aiming speed is in relation to other weapons. A ranger's bow aims at half the speed of a wooden bow and one-sixth the speed of a sling. This means that a person with 300 marksmanship and a ranger's bow would aim at the same speed as a person with 100 marksmanship and a wooden bow and as a person with 50 marksmanship and a sling, assuming that none of them are limited by the EML of their weapons and ammunition.

Harder than you think.

Also remember that bears are living beings who move around every once in a while. Doing so would most certainly lower your aim gauge, prolly down to zero again.

You need to know hot to make a "pull". If u r on boat and u see bear on shore just ue punch and quickly make a distance so bear cannot hit u, bear won't move for a while and I can take 30min aiming if needed to hit him. Also if I'm close to shore and on foot I can pull it and run to boat and then shot him. Only problem with that tehnique is that if u have low damage weapon when u do 2-4 shots bear will run away and u need to disengage combat and run after him and shot again and again to kill him. With good weapon enough you can just pull and one-shot him right on place. Thanks for 6k+ LP

Only issue with that is the animals do kinda move, as they sort of charge forward lowering the bar a bit, even though they have no were to go. So id think with a ranger bows and low MM that it would be a significant drop for you each time it does its little charge movement.

To be honest,

I'm a Ranger with a Q100+ Ranger Bow, but when I go hunting I'll bring my 200+ (Yeah going to get a 300 soon) Sling with me. I'll kill that bear (Lv X) in 3shots in 4 seconds before it can even hit me once.

Why would you want to take 30mins to kill a bear when you can kill more and faster.

And learn Call Down Thunder if you want to pull better.

But hey, buy your Ranger's Bow if you want to. But prepare to be disappointed and looking for a high Q sling afterwards.

Also buying 300+q sling. More, better.

yup RangerBow is for pvp mainley, to be able to pierce thru armour as effective as possible, most people dont use the RB for normal hunting.

However just having a Rangerbow might be a high motivation on raising MM, for some people its the feeling of using a bow in itself that gives a certin satisfaction, the feeling of Robin Hood in the woods sort of. But normal hunting will indeed benefit more from a high ql sling as all of these people are trying to tell you.

If he still want to buy a bow before the sling even after knowing these facts, well why not, everyone is entitled to buy whatever they want if there is a seller right.
