I've been trying to get my hands on some decent arms and armor so that i can properly kit myself as our village warrior. But those nearby us whom have access to iron refuse to trade it... I mean, i have ok bronze gear, but against an agressive raider, bronze isnt going to do much in the way of tipping the odds when they have a b12 axe and steel plate....

So you have only been trying to trade on a regional base, understandable that you didn't get everything you wanted. You will have to get access to Constantinople to trade with the larger factions, which usually sell everything you need.

zacatak45 is, in fact, useless to everybody. with regard to things you want to buy, the only things that aren't sold on the open market are thanes and forge rings. anyone refusing to sell you any other item probably can't obtain it (or at least can't obtain it easily enough to sell it).

personally i don't do much trading these days but if you want some steel (or perhaps just some better bronze than you have) gear i might be able to get you some. pm with your approximate location and what you have to offer.

Sodom sells Monocles, Merchant's rings.

Now with that said, I believe we have sold a dragon helm, plate armor isn't tyipcally sold, but it can be. The problem is that what you offer for it probably isn't worth sitting 56 hours watching steel. If you brought the steel I wouldn't have a HUGE problem doing it, but I may or may not depending on mood and general consensus within Sodom.

A soldier's sword is a big nono, I don't want other people running around with q160 soldier's swords, those are for village members, not random people we have no control over.

Yeah, i am part of a village. Its kinda hard to be the village's designated warrior when i'm stuck with ONLY average quality bronze gear.

Also, we've a charter stone set up for the express purpose of binging newbies into the game safely. And unlike other noobs. We only turn it on when we have someone to sit by it.... So newbies dont spawn in and run off cause no ones there to help them.

I dont care who you are, i really dont. If your not going to be helpful, please dont waste my time. I never said i wanted q160 or q1000 anything. I never even mentioned thanes rings, CAUSE I DONT WANT THEM..... All in all your telling me the same things others have in my region. Therefore, you are useless to me, go away.

The only thing factions don't trade, or don't trade openly, are rings, thane rings.

Compareable to WMDs on earth. People want to have their own and as many as possible, but they don't like it when others have them.
