As for the usefulness of leather and glue, it is definitely more valuable than, for example, q86 earthworms or some cheap metal tools - that is, if it's in bulk. I'd never travel somewhere far away for less than 20pcs of these. Try setting up a stand at Nople and sell your stuff there.
