It would have to mean that there are already 200+ql trees in the world, my silly little friend. Either that or livestock with > 200ql bones.

To make a q200+ saw you need q200 bones and branches from a q200+ tree, since there is no other factor in the quality of branches.
q200 trees almost certainly don't exist, ergo there are no q200 bonesaws.

Even last map with q750 water and q160 soil we couldn't get to q200 trees :)
Which for some reason doesn't exactly add up imo. Might have been our farmer or could have been soft capped by tree pots.
Possibly even herb tables. Who knows :)

wiki says survival effects making bonesaw... so it is wrong then. "The quality of a bone saw is affected by survival and capped by bone quality. "

I don't know how calculations go, thats why I asked :) I'm holding q190+ saw in my hands and I wonder what calculation is for them, that is all :)

EDIT:

q100 branch, q200 bone, 200 survival = q183 bonesaw
q100 branch, q100 bone, 200 survival = q100 bonesaw (ofc, q is capped by bone)
q124 branch, q200 bone, 200 survival = q187 bonesaw

He is just saying that there isn't a q200+ bonesaw, because there are no q200 trees. A q190 bone saw is not interesting for anyone, but you claimed before that q200 saws exist, that is why people were wondering.

Well, since q195+ or so exist, I assumed that q200 has been made already. I didn't know bone q caps it, thats my bad.

So q198, q199 should be max then?

The formula for bone saw quality is

Q1 = ((5 * boneQuality) + branchQuality)/6

if (Survival > Q1) then BoneSawQuality = Q1

if (Survival < Q1) then BoneSawQuality = (Q1 + Survival)/2

This guy derailed a whole thread on the common misconception everyone makes, next time make this in how do I...

To make a q195 bone saw you need something like q160 trees, to make the top Q bone saw in the world ATM you need q180+ trees. No one has q200 trees. How can I be certain? Cause we have the best trees. Even bruteforcing it would take months to pass the q200 mark much less the q190 mark, as pointed out they didn't pass it last world with uber buggged shit what makes you think they will easily this world? Best shot at it is to continue raising fibres to fucking crazy levels. Either that or hoping you keep getting lucky with your cows and they pass q200 bones soon.

q200 stone axe is even harder, requires q200 stones (from byproduct of metal), if you can do this you can have q200 iron (without spiraling), either that or q200+ branches, but their average has to be 200+ either way.
