q200 trees almost certainly don't exist, ergo there are no q200 bonesaws.

wiki says survival effects making bonesaw... so it is wrong then. "The quality of a bone saw is affected by survival and capped by bone quality. "

Yeah, it should say that it's based on branch and bone ql and softcapped by Survival.

So q198, q199 should be max then?

Try more like q197 at most unless someone has a q188+ tree atm.

Cool derail about really really pedantic shit guys. Obviously I was aware that 200 was the upper limit for saws/axes. When I said I was looking for q200 of those I meant I was looking for the upper limit of what's available. There's hardly any difference between a q200 saw and a q185 saw, especially to a lowly hermit like me.

Also, it's been proven that hats/slings in the relative q range I requested exist. Perhaps the Sodomites are simply trying to keep their quality levels close to the vest, as usual.

World of a difference in q185 and q200 saw, but yeah at your level you're right not a big difference.

q200 Stone Axe - try q150ish
q200 Bone Saw - try q195ish
q500 Straw Hat - highest i've seen is q450
q400 Sling - highest I've seen recently is around q400, we were making higher but our best survivalist died and our runner up is now taking place and catching up quick, we can get them around 400 though but prefer not to sell those 350 is mostly sold since we have plenty of fibre around that quality but don't keep as much for q400 slings.

Happy? Are you looking for all 4 for the pearl? Cause I've traded much less for q 70 pearl.

no you would have to have q 200 branch

but if you did get a q 170 branch you would only need 206 q bones (which shouldn't be too hard if you can pull q 20 out of your butt...)

I don't know how calculations go, thats why I asked :) I'm holding q190+ saw in my hands and I wonder what calculation is for them, that is all :)

EDIT:

q100 branch, q200 bone, 200 survival = q183 bonesaw
q100 branch, q100 bone, 200 survival = q100 bonesaw (ofc, q is capped by bone)
q124 branch, q200 bone, 200 survival = q187 bonesaw

The formula for bone saw quality is

Q1 = ((5 * boneQuality) + branchQuality)/6

if (Survival > Q1) then BoneSawQuality = Q1

if (Survival < Q1) then BoneSawQuality = (Q1 + Survival)/2

mm i love a good if then statement it's my favorite to code with using .net

It would have proven your point much better and also proven you really do understand how to fight people and not only how to slaughter helpless sheep.
