That is correct, when you hold the seedling in your hand you can see the ql of the seedling, but once its planted in the pot,
you will only see the ql of the pot and what kind of seed was planted if you hold it in your hand , not the ql of the upcomming tree
since it has not grown yet.
and since the ql has some randomness to it a few ql points up or down, why should you be able to see it really, its part of the
surprise when growing things to see what it becomes. in the same way you can never tell exaktley what ql you will get when
you harvest weat for example until it is actually harvested. And that is even if you know the ql of the seed that you planted there.
so yes it is a bit of a hassle to trade planted trees, since you quite frankley must trust the one who sold it.
and if you do not have appropiate ql on your herbtable-treepot-soil-water-farming skill to match the seed ql that you buy,
you will drag the ql down on the end produkt from the original seed a lot if you just buy the seed and plant it in a pot yourself.
but well if you dont mind that your higher ql seed will drop by a lot , since it might still get a little higher then your current trees.
and some people might be happy with that little extra boost even if it might not be a lot. whatever floats peoples boats right.
ohh depending on what you plan to use the trees for by the way, some trees grow faster like fir and birchbark trees hence
they are faster to level up. Maple, Oak, fruit trees and such grow a lot slower, takes a lot loonger for them to become a full grown tree.
hence it will take loonger to get a new seed to plant.
To Thijssnl: The person planting the seed into the treepot matters. However the person planting the treesprouts into the ground does not matter.
