Why does the plate armor cost 15P more for 155 AC less? The steel plate only has 12 more points of deflect anyways.

yes. You're right.

But Steel plate is still needed 6 of Steel. and Steel's minimum price is 15P*6

The result is simple. Do not buy expensive when you think.
