It is not acceptable. If something is acceptable it is able to be agreed upon as proper and right. Since this thread is not agreeing on it, it is not acceptable. In Western society at large it is considered derogatory and rather rude since every human citizen is given the same rights regardless of biological make-up. Only in anonymous or foul settings do people take liberties on their ideas of acceptance towards certain words.

Accept is the wrong word. Tolerate is a better one. Not many people accept it, but most tolerate it.
