What determines what is "fair use" and what is not? The state. Covered in my previous argument.

So are you arguing that the law is wrong and should not be followed, or are you arguing that our interpretations of the law are wrong? Because it seems rather strange to make both arguments at the same time

I am arguing that the law is wrong. But I never argued for US law. I simply stated that modern IP laws ultimately do not hold up to the law of the land here in the USA (the Constitution.) I think you are misunderstanding me. It was not my intention to contest the interpretation of the law. The only argument I originally tried to make is why I think it is wrong, morally, and how "intellectual property" is really a state-enforced legal convention, not an extension of real ownership. Make sense?

This thread was an attempt (I'm assuming) by the moderators to expand on a debate that took place in another thread. Not an excuse for you and try to childishly troll. Sorry, but you fail.

EDIT: I guess this thread (that was moved from another thread with no doing of my own) has devolved into a trollfest for the vets to engage in against the newcomer, when it was supposed to be (I'm still assuming here) a thread involving a debate about intellectual property. I have to say, I am not impressed with this community at all. Common trolls, all of ya.
