Simple: You didn't. You keep trolling, happily insulting other people and our collective intelligence.

You keep claiming that i stated that i run a macro on an alt, when i'm afk, or whenever.

That is utter bullshit.

I stated that i have created a robot which does run a silkfarm without user intervention (except sorting moths by gender and fetch water+fuel).

Please observe the slight difference in the meaning between which does and is running, and stop jumping to conclusions when you don't have the facts to support them.

Also: you have not the slightest idea who i am, how i think or what i enjoy more of what or about what i do and how ingame, and yet you constantly state that you are better informed about me than i am.

Get new glasses so you can actually read what others write, or a brain replacement in case it's not a problem with the eyes.

<*)))))><

Loftar, please install a newer version of this board so i can enjoy the benefits of an ignore user button.

Only what you told me in that conversation, which was that you enjoyed messing around and finding out how much you could automate. Was I incorrect to assume you were telling the truth?

The rest isn't even worth replying to. If you think real hard, you might see why it isn't even relevant to the discussion whether you use your bot or not, only that it exists, and that you can use it semi legitimately. Actually, the fact of it's existence isn't even relevant, except to highlight that its potential to exist is very large.

I seem to recall something about english not being your primary language though, so perhaps it's just being lost in translation. Or am I confusing you with another 'G' name?

Seems to be exactly what certain posters are aiming for :?

Responses to my points are getting further and further apart. People would rather throw out insults than address things like Jorbs statement explaining that he does not approve macroing (linked 8-9 pages ago, yet to see a single response), or whether exploiting game mechanics should be publicly legitimized, rather than leaving it as an unwritten rule 'to be competitive, you must bot'.

Bahaha, amused at how many responses this thread got.

Hopefully the trolls can be weeded out and some good pros and cons of macro protection can be taken out of it. I already shared my ideas. At least about 5% of my ideas of simple additional 5-15 minute things that could be added to kind of dump out a good bit of macroers. Worked in other games, wouldn't see why they wouldn't work here at all.

Anyways g'luck. Have fun with this thread everybody lol. Will be amused if this got to 15 pages.

Top left of the board (next to the guy in the miners hat) is the profile link.

In there you can add people to your list of "enemies" after which the contents of their posts are replaced with a link saying "username made a post click here to view it"

It's the closest thing to ignore the board has and I recommend it. It can be a really helpful way of reminding yourself "I don't want to reply to this guy cause it's a waste of energy" even if you do still decide to read their posts every now and again.

How about randomly between every 30-60 mins a small button comes up at the corner of the screen, and once clicked it brings up a captcha window that you need
to fill in. If you don't click the button you simply stop gaining LP from your tasks, you can still however continue doing whatever you were doing and the button must be as least obtrusive as possible.

This might not stop the likes of silk macros and other advanced ones, but it would take out the amateur and innocent macroers and at least send a warning showing that the devs are against macroing (even I didn't know that till now!).
