Actually, now that i've looked it up, it was 375 years ago. But that is kind of... stupid to reference something that far back. Right now, japan is mostly non religious, and secular. If you want to reference things that happened hundreds of years ago don't bother, our understanding back then was trivial compared to now. Also the average life expectancy was like 22 years old back then, andn people still thought thunder and earthquakes were caused by gods.

People are gonna hate the sea if their loved one drowns

They can hate it all they like, as long as their ocean hating beliefs don't trump free expression. People can go ahead and hate things all they like for all i care.

But how it works right now is, if you hab a swastika drawn on your face you get arrested
That's like if you have waves drawn on your face, the person beats YOU up because you wearing a SYMBOL of something that killed his loved one
It is not illegal to wear a swastika in the United States/canada/uk. It is a matter of your first amendment right to freedom of expression. I would suggest you think long and hard about getting a tattoo of one or wearing one. People will automatically make the assumption that you are anti-semitic and support the Neo-Nazi movement, whether you do or don't. Personally, I would not hire or do business with anyone who has a swastika tattoo, and I would be well within my legal rights to do that.

I'm just gonna mark that down as possibly the most ignorant statement i've seen on these forums....ever. I'm willing to bet that in the Late 1600's, early 1700's that the life expectancy was probably 50-60 and if there were people that still thought that lightning and thunder were caused by god then the same people still exist and live in the Amazon basin.

don't care about what happened 300 years ago. It has nothing to do with this topic.
