"DESTROY YOUR HF" A lot of people new to trading with alts and village idols have not destroyed their alt's HF. A new alt will not have the agility to travel with out destroying his HF and with minimum strength it will delay the trade while you attempt to break the HF.
If you actively trade you may keep a alt with no HF, no skills and if it was to be killed little lost (except the goods being traded)

The intent is to always keep your main safe at home. Traders will more then likely have a proxy village to invite customers into so they are not risking their main village.

I always enjoyed trading with Cornbread and found him to be a very fair trader.

Most of the people who say good smooth trades are from that town because when i read DESTROY YOUR HF!!!! it looked kinda odd so i would not actualy try because i have messed with them befor so i dont wana mess with them again

I am not from their town and have had trade with them before without incident. Maybe it's just you.
