What is relevant is that you're a fucking twat. How hard is it to give credit where credit is do? It costs you what, eight more words to source the artwork?

I guarantee if it were your work being used you would appreciate the gesture, law and legal conversations aside.

This community doesn't want to impress, embrace or include you. We want to expel you. Much like a bad burrito or Mexican water.

Great, concise argument there, jackass. Actually, I could give a shit less if you bitter nerds full of pent up angst embrace me or not. I could give a shit less if you live or die tbh. The reason I am here is because I made a point about the morality of IP and the copyright laws that ensue. Someone (a moderator) decided to continue this debate as its own thread, so of course I'm going to defend myself. Don't like it? Then fuck off. This had nothing to do with whether one gives credit or not, dumb ass. Try reading the posts first before making yourself look like a dip shit that kisses the asses of the moderators...

EDIT: And I have had people use my work before. I openly tell people to use ALL of my work, because I don't believe in modern copyright law. Please know what the fuck you are talking about before spewing more bad mexican burrito water

No it is the core of the problem. How is it irrelevant when you don't know what you are talking about? Ok, I guess one could say argueing with you is irrelevant as are you. I will give you that.

I know exactly what I am talking about. Go read some of Murray Rothsbard or Stephan Kinsella, and you will see precisely what I am talking about.

fyi just the account he was evading the ban on was perma'd. the original ban was just for a set amount of time (i don't recall how long, or what it was for, but he's served his time now).

Ah, so you've let others do your thinking for you. Better idea: get out a copy of the USC and related Supreme Court rulings (for US citizens; citizens of other countries should get other law books and related high court rulings) and apply that ninja logic to it yourself. This might be too difficult, though, so I'll completely understand it if you don't have the time and energy for it. After all, lawyers spend years in school learning about it and end up usually needing to specialize in an area such as family, international, constitutional, criminal, etc. because of the huge volume. The US only has about 150 years to study, in other countries, the relative law dates back centuries. (Sometimes that's a good thing in that it provides stability, but other times tradition is sooo hard to change.)

edit: FYI, copyright < IP.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

This. I guess making this thread was a mistake. I will now send it where it should have gone in the first place.
