The Place Where Bad Threads Go To Die.

Especially since, "what a surprise" the C&I area hasn't been reduced much in threads despite past threads related to this issue.

My thread is what I use as a reference point as the search is annoying & just sifting through pages again is even more annoying. I know as I sifted through over 75+. Quite a 30 minute time waster let me tell ya' haha.

Just stop, please.

Posting in other threads promoting your own is no way to get anything stickied, especially when the only reason it exists is as a temporary measure.

Please do not spam other threads with unrelated advertisements.

A village I visited recently abused crossroads like i've never seen before. They had loads in one space with some that even got you to the inside of a mansion just a few tiles away  . I doubt the devs meant for them to be used like this.

Might be good in theory but in practice I don't really see the point.

It's not like it gives them any sort of "major advantage". I could see scenarios where it is being exploited pretty majorly though but i'll leave those thoughts to myself.

Nontheless. I'll still add this to the "suggestions" thread I made.

whats to differentiate your list from say browsing the actual forum if you indiscriminately add every idea you come across

see: ideas that are not repeats and ideas that are disliked by nearly everyone

Lol. Why? I'm referencing the thread. It is related to the topic so thus there is nothing wrong with me posting the link.

don't delude yourself into thinking a weak self-justification is going to stop me from moderating your spam

The URL's don't contain keyword, only thread ID's.

Your response tends to indicate that you haven't really thought about my advice and are just making excuses to not change things.

I've noticed this about most pieces of advice people give you.

That wasn't my point.
My point being is that before the link I mentioned the basic title(and perhaps i'll add small descriptions.) and thus when people search in the search box they would end up finding this thread. However. When I make them text links i'm not sure how that will effect the search box. In otherwords, it's very possible that it will make this thread harder to find through the search by making them text links. However. At the same time it could simply not effect them. I am not completely sure however you missed the point originally of what I meant. Anyways.. back on topic. Added a few more posts.

uh it would still have the exact same words, they would just have a fancy underline and when you click on them it would go to that thread

I'm fairly certain then, that I have missed your point...

My assumption was that you believed I was suggesting you remove the descriptive text before each link entirely, and you were trying to communicate how that would be a bad thing.

I agree that it would be a bad thing, but wanted to correct what I thought was an erroneous assumption.

I still note that you haven't fixed the links, and I still believe you have not grasped my suggestion. I believe my suggestion is easy to understand, and the only reason I can think of for you not understanding it is because you don't want to devote time to it, you just want to come up with things on your own and not listen to others.

If you don't want to listen to others then what motivation do we have for entering into any dialog with you?

Just in case you still don't get it, here's a sample:

this way you can read the titles easier:

O Bigger Carts
O Open Containers in Storage
O Salvage the Old Land Tool for Walls
O Reconsidering Skill Prereqs
O Hearth
O Fire Pits
O Graves
O Runestones

I Like Jackard's format idea better and i think it's more on par as to what I was trying to get across as my point to not only maintain searchability properly but to not confuse people as well. You would be surprised how many people I dealt with on other forums that couldn't tell that there was an actual link in the text. I think i'll do it like that in a few days. Perhaps tonight if i get the spare moment to.

This way I can also identify the solved threads with an X and the unresolved with an O.
