I would like just "Haven", but they should probably talk to an IP lawyer or something

I just hope there is some movement towards fostering a bit more "emergent complexity" in terms of large scale relatively safe civilization to contrast with dangerous wilderness, as opposed to simply competing villages of tightly knit people. For example, code support for factions, which allow for a variety of political types that impact on things such as what types of positions are available, and what powers those positions have in terms of recruitment/banishment/promoting/demoting/zoning etc. Also, in-game support such as special types of gates. I've always wanted real cities in haven. Even if by "city" I mean like a few hundred people. But it just can't work without code that supports it.

Yes, yes, yes.

I was thinking about the same thing, greenlight would bring many more players.

But doesn't Greenlight have to be approved by Valve and/or the community? I know they're opening up what is accepted more and more as time rolls along, but it is still a process (and loftar needs to be willing to code the Steam API into the client/server authentication process somewhere).

Will note: While Salem was under Paradox, it was a plan. No idea if it still is or not.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Yes. And if active members on this forum go and vote for game in greenlight - game will get it. I dont know about coding part, but steam is great choice for indie devs to get profit and make game popular. I hope j&l think about this opinion.

It won't stop me from buying it. But why would you bring along digging to flatten land. Hopefully It won't be. As tedious.
