The Place Where Bad Threads Go To Die.

Please stop making ridiculous requests!

Postby Saphireking65 » Sat May 14, 2011 6:44 pm

Too many threads are being made asking for high q items, while offering low q goods in return. There are many things wrong with this. So here's what you SHOULD do instead of posting some insane "I want a saw" or "Trading ants for q60+ clay" thread, BROWSE THE FORUM. There are many trading threads from many different established villages, and they are almost always selling the things you ask for. For example, some good trading threads are:

viewtopic.php?f=26&t=18103
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=18492
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=19098
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=18288

Also, stop posting coordinates, you only attract thieves and murderers.

Thanks for the mention.

Of the established threads out there, Climax has the best clay for sale (Q55+). If you're a beginning player, collecting 5-6 flotsam should get you a load of 90 if Zamp keeps the same ratio he made with Painhertz.

Flotsum are the only thing of value that can be produced by beginning players. Be grateful the devs made even that. In previous worlds there was essentially nothing for them xD.

Edit: SK, edit the post title to be more descriptive and maybe attract the noobs attention.

free trade is what you are going with eh?

he means stop with the ridiculous want to buy q60 pickaxe thread when there are like 6 towns selling it.

free trade? do you know how hard it is to make that stuff? so hard that anyone that wants to sell HAS MADE A THREAD. don't like their prices? don't trade but they are the only ones that have it so making your own to buy it is stupid. sure others can make it but they don't want to trade.

goes for a lot of HQ things

Not sure what you consider a "ridiculous" request, but I got qual 47 clay for Flotsums last night and could have gotten 50+ had I not made a deal so fast. Also? I for one reserve my right to trade as I like. I don't see no mod handle next to your name, chief.

Well it's a thing to open a thread for unconventional stuff or to try to find things cheaper than shops.
It's another thing to open a thread trying to trade Q80 clay for cone cows.

What I mean is that some offers are completely irrealistic, and I hope people won't start flooding them. Also it's really annoying when people open their own thread without even reading other threads, also.
