HELP!!! IM NOT GETTING LP at ALL

Since I started playingg I thought that the only way to get LP is to pick up new things for the first time. But I am running out of new animals to catch and fruit and trees to cut. I dont gain ANY LP points other then +50 and now +40 (because I have 80% learning ability). I built alot of shit , tried gathering branches and I dont get a single LP point for it. WHAT DO I DO. Please help!
