Actually, a LOT of people used MSN for years. Especially when Xbox had it integrated, and then mobile phones had it available. It was quite popular for awhile. No where near as Skype though, of course.

Yeah, i know that, after skype was bought by microsoft, it isn't sure anymore. It record the messages and what else.
I don't use it anymore for really private conversations. it is just like Msn. A junk chat where you can meet lots of people but totally inappropriate for real important things.
