I believe Loftar's point was not in bugusing, but in that fact that AD intentionally DDoSed the server to crash it. I don't know what happened with all that account stealing, but "lesser bugabusers"? Seriously? AD threatened every village they dont like with bugram and cliffjumped more noob settlements than you can imagine. Anyway, I'm not trying to compare the amount of bugfaggotry between AD and Dis, but admit it, AD deserved it at least for DDoS.

in fact, i remember threats of ddos attacks on the server after the massacres of bitardsk/stalingrad (the very first major russian settlements) in world 2. so i guess some things never change.

not really saying we need to pay for an account, but to actually tie your forums account and your char. as well as not only requiring an email.

I dunno, I don't know much about this area of game mechanics and design. but it would seem that something needs to be implemented in order to police the populace?
