Chieftain to Lawspeaker Issue

really sucks if your cheiftain is the only chieftain left in the village(can't leave and get invited back) so no LS and then no Chief...maybe this is 1 of those things that should get some thought put into it then taken to C&I.

Thats what I am afraid of, one of the stupid things in Haven and Hearth still yet to be fixed. I mean a chieftain should be able to claim Lawspeaker because they are essentially a higher rank then a regular villager.

seems to me that a Village Idol with some minimum of athority should only allow a chief to take the LS spot...ie president dies vice president takes over, not some random citizen.

that could cause issues for a hermit who hasn't made an alt a chief, but who does that?
