H&H is a game that purports to be realistic as possible and in most ways, it does.

However, I think we can all agree that there is one place where it is far from realistic: the power of god. As is obvious by the way that pagan cults where swept aside by Christianity's spread through Europe, there was (and, of course, remains), a definite advantage to beveling in God and accepting Jesus Christ as one's personal savior.

Of course, beyond such tangible reasons as historical accuracy, there's also the fact that pagan, Atheist, and homosexual lifestyles being portrayed in games can and will lead to young people thinking that these things are acceptable.

Some ways of implementing this to the game would be having the server look for characters saying or doing immoral things (perhaps I should clarify: immoral in the sense of violating morality, not liberal morality), then giving them negative status effects to fit. For instance, a character who is naked in the presence of a character of the same sex would be given a status effect along the lines of "Mortal Sin", lowering XP gained for all tasks and running all the speech they enter to be run through a filter that marks everything they say in pink.

Likewise, prayers and good deeds would grant positive status effects to recognize characters who showed devotion to Jesus Christ.

As an educator for young people, I can promise you that changes like these will have a very positive effect on the young people, helping them find the light of god's love.

PS: Another small change to be more realistic struck me just after I posted this thread. Currently, female characters are just as strong as males. Obviously this is either politically-correct hand-wringing or else it is simply an oversight. This should be fixed soon. Naturally, women can't do math/learning and engineering/crafing as well as men, and they certainly can't hunt- they should be barred from getting combat skills at all, in fact. To keep things balanced, they should get large bonuses to sewing, cooking, and some harvesting.

i dont know if this guy is a arrogant and ignorant bastard or a troll, either way all its good for is making people pissed off, we arent living in 1699 anymore(bonus points if you get the reference). women are not 2nd grade beings, nor are gays or athiests or other religion or those that dont know what to believe anymore.
