The Kingdom of Redux Recruitment

Postby Zyliart » Mon Dec 13, 2010 5:37 am

After a few days of working, the founding of TKoR has finally been reached. Our journey to this land was made from the Farthest most Eastern wall in the village of Benfir, in which i personally had a farming ranch hugging the cursed wall. We moved about half an hour away from this village by boat, moving in the general direction of north West until we had finally found a location almost untouched by players. Closest we had found of life was a small home abandoned it seemed with a single stone asking if anyone will take him in, and gave his Hearth Secret, and that was about a two minute sail west. Upon lighting the Village Marker, we had agreed to begin work on new members.

Requirements Based upon the Current supply of food:
  • Have a good idea of what to do, and can set personal Goals in the event that none of the Hirdsmen are on.
  • If new to the game, should be striving to learn as much as they possibly could from their fellow Villagers.

Application Process:
  • Timezone
  • Previous (if any) Villages:
  • Prior Role (if any) In game:
  • What your role would be upon joining
  • Any prior thefts, and are the goods 'Hot'?

We are an Organized Village and would like to ask if you wish to go building anything that would be of use to either the Village or Personal, that you ask a building planner. Any thefts from the Village, is a crime punishable by Death, unless said goods can be accounted for and delivered Back to us. We are currently open for trade, and even an occasional visit or two from our neighboring villages. Any Crimes committed to a fellow Villager, will be dealt with the current Elder.

To Do List
  • Find a mine
  • go through uncharted territory in search of any and all villages.

Finished Tasks
  • Manage Food Supplies to allow more players in the Village.
  • Hire More players to take part in the village and help it grow.
  • Find town on World Map
  • Obtain Rustroot to Create a Mine
  • Mass Produce Leather and Wheat for Trade.
  • Secured Abandoned home in the KoR hunting ground for use in Leather Farm.
  • Palisades:Mapped by Chieftain and Lawspeaker
  • Find a Stable Food source While plants grow, to Accommodate 6 Very Active Players.
  • Founded Village

Closing Remarks:
Upon applying to TKOR, i will personally look at it, word for word until i am convinced that you would be suited to come and live with us. As Harsh as i may have made some of the objectives above, we really are nice people, i just need to be Blunt and Straight Forward about how we play, so when in game, i can rest assured that i won't awake to find major changes, Bears, dead bodies, my sling, Stenches, as to which i will have to, And i Will go all Ranger, track you down and Murder you. Either way, We're really a nice crowd up here, and even for those new players that wish to learn to play, You're as good as extra baggage to us, in a good way. As of yet, I know the rest of the villagers currently residing in town would love to have someone to take along and shoot another sling, and man another boat complete with boxes to hunt for an extended amount of time. If you're looking to settle down, and managed to read all of this, I do believe you should be a perfect candidate to the family.

* Timezone: PST
* Previous (if any) Villages: none
* Prior Role (if any) In game: none
* What your role would be upon joining: Hunter/general material gatherer, I guess. I can do anything, though.
* Any prior thefts, and are the goods 'Hot'?: Nicked a few things from abandoned settlements, if that counts.
Note: I'm a newbie and would be making a new character for this, so bear with me.

That will be Fine. Only reason i require to know about prior thefts is because i would rather like to know if a Ranger is tracking someone. Sending you a message as soon as i finish this message. Also, going to update the list.

Well, lone hermit fag reporting in. Been doing my own thing for awhile now and would like to join an organized village.

* Timezone: Eastern Standard (GMT +8 I think)
* Previous (if any) Villages: None
* Prior Role (if any) In game: Pretty much just generalization
* What your role would be upon joining: Well I got the knack of hunting, farming, fishing down so anything would be fine.
* Any prior thefts, and are the goods 'Hot'?: Besides looting, nothing

Though I would probably come as a new character, I haven't been able to find a map of the entire game, let alone find myself on it and then somehow find where you guys are...
His specialty was alfalfa, and he made a good thing out of not growing any. The government paid him very well for every bushel of alfalfa he did not grow. The more alfalfa he did not grow, the more money the government gave him, and he spent every penny he didn't earn on new land to increase the amount of alfalfa he did not produce.
