Semi-Hermit looking for company. Newbs preffered

Postby JamesPenny » Wed Mar 31, 2010 4:36 pm

HI, I recently started out at H&H and have spawned in the middle of goddamned no-where. Nearby is a girl who is pretty well established and has helped me greatly in my early days. There is a river, extremely good soil (Q34), pine trees, clay and rabbits galore.
If this sounds like the kinda place you want to live then simply reply and I'll fire off my Hearth Secret. I'm not looking to start a village (atm at least) but would simply like some nearby company. I said newbs preffered because I just started out and, well, learning together is fun :D .

The only thing to watch out for is a bear that sometimes wanders nearby.

If you decide to come then you can have full access to my camp's basic facilities and (if you ask nicely) our/my neighbours facilities.

P.S: Noob and newb are differant things. Please no idiots.

Nice post man... and I couldn't agree more, learning together as noobs is prolly my favourite experience of the game. If you get to the point that you feel ready for village-life, drop me a line.

Thanks for replying, if only for the bump :P . I would like to try village life but I already have my log cabin up just this minute, a small farm to expand and I just kinda like the remote-ness. The closest village is AGES to the north, which my neighbour found in her boat.

I'm interested. I just started about 2 days ago and think I have a good grasp of the basics, but I'm still learning something new each time I log on. I've learned the hunting, fishing, foraging and lumberjack skills, but am still learning how to use each of them tho :D

The thing that gets me is how I need birch bark for some things and though I've wondered near and far, I can't seem to find any birch trees. I did find a small grove of apple trees tho, so it wasn't a complete loss.

GMT Exact. If you only started today then you probably arent that far ahead, you might want to start again and spawn right next to me. Saves walking. I'm currently out searching for Kolrim because he can't get past rivers yet.

Yeah, I'm -7 GMT so things are a little "Meh." right now. I was able to get into a party with James early this morning (for me), but we still don't know how far apart we are.

I'd be willing to join you guys. I've been playing for a few days now, and im starting to get the hang of things. I've got a small farm and a log cabin, but i wouldn't mind moving at all because im getting pretty lonely out here alone, and im not in too great of a location. So if your still looking for someone to join you, i'd happily join if i can find my way there :P

Just started today, and I think I have a basic grasp on everything and have set up a small campsite but I am fairly scared to move out and look for stuff since on a different character I got instaraped by some beast. So having some company and having a better idea of surrounding land. Your offer sounds great and I wait for you reply. :)

Oh yeah, and i'm -3 EST time, and in the middle of nowhere. It's amazing.
