Does anyone enjoy mining?
Once a man has changed the relationship between himself and his environment, he cannot return to the blissful ignorance he left. Motion, of necessity, involves a change in perspective.

We don't have each one taking care of ourselves, so we have our own "duties" in village and seperated jobs. Cook cooks for everyone, farmer farms for cook, hunter hunts and maybe proceeds with leather. If anyone gets bored in his chores there is always plenty of other stuff to take care off like filling some water in barrels, looking for resources, etc.

And we're not as big as we would maybe need to be for all hq stuff to hold to its quality, thats why we need more people, specialy miners so other can focus on what they like :)

And nowadays its really hard to get trustworthy people.

Practically my approach helps just with what you want to achieve. Nobody enjoys mining, it is the most boring task in game. So rather have everyone mine an hour once a week and be done with it. Then everyone can go back to whatever task they enjoy most, still the towns metal supplies are secured.

I think farming is worse than mining. At least I don't have to juggle stupid bullshit in my inventory with mining. Just pick up ore, scroll it into smelters or containers and sit for a few seconds, and do it again.

This is something I cannot give answer to. I know for myself, that I do like it, I do like the feeling of making nugs, bars and wrough and even greater satisfaction in steel, even though long process. I do however have little time for it, so it is pain in the ass to take the time from other stuff for mining. If I would have time, i would be a miner IF farming wouldn't bring better grinding LP :)

@burg:
I know all what you're saying, I'm just a person who gives the effort into it and I don't want to bug other villagers who make great job (cook cooks for 2h/day + take care of some chees + other things, farmer farms for 4h+), so I reather do it myself and kill myself :D So I gave up with less time I have, thats why I look for such person.

@Oddity:
Both can be as stupid as painfull to do, but both is very much needed :)

I do, especially in groups. 2 miners, 1 guy to pick up the ore. Then lots of chatting during the mining progress and I'll have a good time.

PS: Ramones, I'm really busy atm but I'll try getting online in the weekend
