I'd love to be on an island...

But I feel like it would be just a magnet for anyone going down the river. Plus it'd be hard to get out of map range of said people, even if they weren't the type inclined to explore every island.

Does this game have oceans? See none on the minimap. If not, that is my number one request for the next world :) Would be cool to see the current map split in half with a giant ocean thrown in in the middle, hundreds of big to small islands, and a couple of continents. You know, nothing major  But I'd dissappear into the ocean and be GONE. Also of course with such an update some cool things would be bigger boats (are they in yet? I don't know), different types with diff characteristics, and most certainly a mechanic for piracy :P Already you could simply take a faster boat in front of your target and block him, but I don't think it would be physically possible to transfer between boats. There would need to be a mechanic for that, or either fixed swimming so you kill the people on the other boat with archery while blocking them (then you'd HAVE to have the ability to lock the boats together (grapnels) or you could never kill them before they could pull away). I think that would be pretty awesome, although just an ocean and lots of settlement sized islands in it would be pretty great by itself.

Sry for the offtopic, just curious to know what the island scene is like in the game :) Is it possible to live on one without having a constant flood of raiders knocking at your door?

Hiya. I stumbled upon this game way back and played a bit and got severely confused. I just recently came back again (still confused). The game seems very interesting but I'd like to be a part of a village, yours sounds perfect. If it is possible I would like to join. You can PM me.

We are still looking for active newcomers, our village has grown quite a bit since then.
