I don't think the whole democracy thing will work very well. Somtimes people need to be told what to do, otherwise they get bored and quit the game. Believe it or not, there are people in this game that can't manage their own affairs. As for village attempt number 2, good luck, I hope you are successful. If you are anywhere near the central grids feel free to look my Empire up and commence some trading. We have some shiney beads and things to tempt you with. Oh and please screen your village members. Searching all of their forum posts is usually a good start. Talking to their former lawspeakers is also another good one.
