Project for a new village (Utopia?)

Postby Petrectec » Tue Aug 03, 2010 9:58 pm

Hi everyone,

Today I have something to ask to you, players of H&H. I play H&H with my friends and my girlfriend, we are in 4 now, we are all italians. We are looking for active players . How all of you know lag is becoming more intense, and the small dimesions of most villages don't help to play without problems (blocked with walls and other objects). So we made a project for a well organized village, that needs some work to do (I don't think it is an utopia, becouse all is possible, without laziness).

The Project!

We need many houses to store everything can be useful. We need many ovens and kilns for faster productions. We need much space between the various structures to allow the passage of carts without the risk of crash somewhere.

Tell we your opinions upon our project. If you are interested, pm me.
Thanks for your attention, hope you like our ideas.

Petrectec.

Do you have a village claim?

Do you have a field of grapes?

If so, I strongly suggest using crossroads instead.

That seems fine for a 4 person village, could probably be setup to maximize usage of the kilns to be together or other such things, you'll eventually want ovens close to the farming area (a lot closer) and everything that actually needs the space should be stone mansions, you won't need nearly that many either.

Do you have houses each person plans to live in? Seems to be the one thing strongly missing.

well i'd definitely opt for mansions, much better. it's a pretty solid plan though. i assume your smelter area is located right by the mine?

Solid plan on paper, but not realistically. Good luck finding all the trees you need for boughs and whatnot.

First, thanks to everyone that replied to my topic. I think the discussions will help to improve the way we think and act, so I accept any comments (except to be considered crazy, because I know I'm crazy :) )

The first thing I have to do is to find active players that don't know the mean of impossible. Trees are a problem, clays deposit and mines are the other 2 problems. Everything is a problem and the project can be edited and resized according to the place where we put down the village claim. It requires some work (2 weeks or much). I put the claim in the centre of the village, so all the areas are equidistant from the center. For example in some villages you have to pass in the farming area to use the ovens. If my only job is to cook, I have my cooking area with ovens and houses to store what I need to cook (Meat, intestines, flour...).

I hope there will be people willing to make reality what now is only on paper. It will be our adventure.
