Constantinople

I'm a new player(relatively) and I've been hearing about this place alot, so I was wondering if theres any openings to join the city? I'm just north east of Sodom right now.

Nople isn't a village you join. It's a village whose sole purpose is to facilitate trade between entities.

What you do is you get a sign to their crossroad (from the people that run nople), take the sign back to your own village, and install it on your village's crossroad so you can fast travel to nople.

I had tried to go there through a crossroad I found just outside Sodom and it had said it was destroyed, does that mean the town is destroyed or just the crossroad?

The old crossroad was vandalized a week or two ago. A new one has been built. There's a thread in "In Congress Assembled' labeled "Constantinople Reopened" with info on getting a new sign.
