Well, someone I know was moving with their village to a bigger city, so they gave the village to me. Anyways, we are close to a few trade partners, a abandoned village and have a few clay dirt and water nodes around us. There is four timber houses(2 with basements), a very large farm, about 7 cows/bulls and some sheep. We also have four log cabins, some metal, a partialy finished stone mansion, and a couple more things that I might of missed.

We currently will accept anyone, you can have whatever job you want(we have cheese racks and meat grinders too) as we are fairly low on both manpower and authority. So, if you want to join, PM me with what job you want, and why you want to join.

What we REALLY need:
Farmers
Linen/Silkmakers
Hunters
Sausage/cheese makers

Ah yes, almost forgot; most of our crops are q20-40.

Is there a story behind this place? It's been abandoned since I started playing at least, but I've never heard anything about it despite it's size, and IIRC I could never find it mentioned on the forums even once.

this is a different AMBER, there are 2 ambers in the world, one down south and one north. This Amber is question was NOT abandoned and squatted in. I built it up by hand and just recently (yesterday) relinquished control of it to the new owners.
