Looking for 3-4 people.

Postby Shadow7168 » Wed Nov 10, 2010 12:27 am

Well, my old village is basically dead, so I was getting ready to leave when I had a idea; a caravan. I tallied up our stocks, we have some pretty valuable stuff; armour, weapons, metal, enough food to last a village a few months, q60 seeds bear capes, a wagon, wine, silkworm eggs, q70-90 water and dirt, and some sheep and much more. Sadly, we have no cows so we might not be able to use the wagon. Never the less, we can still tame them.

u mean being a caravan group the whole time? it sounds really nice and id prolly be up for it, thing is though that u have to steal and raid a lot if u dont set up your own place. im not sure about that, id just imagine after a while. being a caravan though will make it harder for people to catch u. another problem might be that u have to coordinate more the online time, like u log in and the rest already moved. would probably be boring to run after a caravan everyday.

No, I mean travelling by roads to other towns on a route. If your left behind, you just have to wait untill the rest of the group comes back.

Actually I don't think it would be as hard so everyone thinks. You probably would only spend a day moving from place to place and anyone who cannot be online during that time would simply have to ride in the caravan (Only one person in the back though to stop the glitch happening and someone getting kicked out) With enough caravans it would be very easy to carry everything you needed as well as take along the cows you needed. You could maybe spend a week in each area growing crops and such, a palisade would have to be enough for protection but because you would move around so much there would hopefully not be much of a chance for a planned attack.

Hunting and foraging would gather a lot of trade material and maybe they could even be employed by one of the large villages to make a road as they went along to one of the other villages - either way they would be clearing a path as they went a long.

A venture like this would require a lot of team work and co-operation however I think that it would be a really exciting experience and the game would certainly not get dull any time soon.

Ugh a robber broke in the pally and took alot of stuff. Yeah the village claim is dead and I cant really do anything about it. Still have most of the metal goods though. Anyways as the above post, even if you were somehow to be left behind, to think about it, you could still just wait untill they come back to the camp - and they wont just leave right away; they need to drop off their profits too, and then re-supply. Also, I think I might be able to buy a cow from someone I know, and build another wagon. Also I have moved some of my stuff, and may use my alt to bring a second load.
