Looking for village

Hi, I just started playing but I was wondering if there were any village vacancies available. I already understand a lot of the basics of the game and even built my own Timber House. I'm trying to take the next step in the game but am having some difficulties finding necessary resources. Thanks.

You could probably join Ironwell, It sounds like a nice group of villages for new players. I'm not in it though so I don't know if it is true.
