I think people are poking fun because this is just blind optimism. Why don't you give us a little bit more information? What kind of tasks will these people be expected to do? What is your current status in terms of what you have/what you're doing? What can you offer these companions in resources or time? Where are you/will you be based? What are your plans for the future?

Maybe you'd have more luck if you thought about these things (and more) and editing your first post to reflect this. Good luck.

Oh, and 'Recruiting!' might be a more pleasant title for the topic, if nothing else.
