New Village Starting Up

Postby Griegor » Thu May 13, 2010 4:34 pm

Greetings,
The village of Deephold has been expanding slowly and we are branching out and looking for new players who want to learn the game. Deephold is a small village that is just getting off the ground. We intend to increase our size slowly and eventually turn into a fairly large city. If you are a new player and interested in joining our village please send me a PM.

Tell me how long you have been playing and what kind of things you think you would like to do as a member of our village. We have room for all kinds of people as long as they are willing to work together to help the village and it's members grow and improve.

We will take applications and induct people into the village on a limited basis so we don't grow too fast and new villagers have time to get to know each other. I look forward to hearing from you.

EST or Central time players a plus.

Griegor,
Mayor of Deephold

I wouldn't mind joining. I'm planning on making an industrial alt (make steel, weapons, armor, mine, etc) and I could spawn him on ur village and get started. My main char is in B2 now (took me a while to track down his location hehe). I'm training him right now by deforesting my surrounding area and turning it into buckets. I'm also doing some farming, and just generally exploring the game. I'm interested, if you've got somewhere for me to mine on my alt.

I appreciate your offer but I can not accept alts. It generates a conflict of interest where one day you may have to choose between villages and that would be unhealthy for everyone involved.

*EDIT: The only way I could accept an alt is if you were planning to live there with your main as well.

That was the whole point. I was saying that it might take the main a while to get there depending on where you are but I can just spawn my indy guy there right after I make him right? I've seen a lot of people say something along these lines. I'm still planning on bringing my main there though.

So there was my base, then there was a bear, then I was dead.

I'd like to start over and help you with your progress, I know most of the gameplay already.
I'd like to become an unarmed combat dude and fight foxes and maybe later even bears.
I'm from Europe tho..
