New settlement in an island

Hi!

I have just found a forest island of a decent size. I am interested in building a town in it.

There's mountains next to the island and and a lake pretty near. Most of the surrounding area seems desolate. Any new members welcome.

Some of my ideas on the town:

1. We will adapt our planning to the city rather than building a square town like most of them are.

2. We'll use rivers as a way to escape in case of raids.

3. Our primary trade would be growing high quality trees, but I am not a fan of quality hauling, so our primary concern would be to have fun while building our town.

I thought the village was going pretty good but while I was fishing, I came back to find out that everything in my house had been stolen and my boat was gone.
If this is going to happen every time I go fishing I don't think this is a village I want to be apart of. I think it was the people inside the village. I actually caught somone coming back in my house to pick up my chest but as I yelled at them they just said "you are on my island so I get what you have." I was pretty sure Justyx was the leader.
